DozePaw — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 June 2026

DozePaw ("we", "us", the "App") helps pet owners track their pets' medications and dosing schedules. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using DozePaw you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

DozePaw is operated by Mete Mackalı (sole developer). For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@dozepaw.com.

2. Information we handle

a) Account information

If you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. Authentication and account data are processed by Supabase (our backend provider) on our behalf. We never see or store your password in plain text.

b) Pet and medication data you enter

This includes pet names, species/breed, health conditions, photos you choose to add, medications, dosages, schedules, and the dose history you log. This is the core data needed for the App to work.

c) Offline / Demo mode

If you use the App without creating an account ("demo mode"), all of your data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.

d) Purchases

One-time purchases (e.g., the lifetime upgrade) are handled by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, which tells us whether your purchase is active. We do not receive or store your credit card or full payment details — Apple handles all billing.

e) Advertising

The free version of the App shows ads through Google AdMob. By default we request non-personalized ads. AdMob may process a device advertising identifier and limited technical data to serve and measure ads. See Google's policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. If you purchase the premium upgrade, ads are removed.

f) Notifications

The App schedules local notifications on your device to remind you of doses and low medication stock. These reminders are generated on-device and are not sent through our servers.

3. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the App: Supabase (backend/auth), Apple & RevenueCat (purchases), and Google AdMob (ads, free version only). Each processes data under its own terms. We may also disclose information if required by law.

5. Data retention & deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly inside the App: Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your pets, medications, and dose logs from our backend. You may also email support@dozepaw.com to request deletion. Data stored locally on your device is removed when you delete the account or uninstall the App.

6. Security

Data stored in our backend is protected with row-level security so that each user can only access their own records. Connections are encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Children's privacy

DozePaw is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International users

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data (e.g., under GDPR or CCPA). You can exercise most of these rights directly in the App, or by contacting us. We honor applicable data-protection laws.

9. Medical disclaimer

DozePaw is a tracking and reminder tool. It does not provide veterinary or medical advice. Always follow your veterinarian's instructions. Do not rely solely on the App for critical medication timing.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
